Caterina Margherita Cambria

Caterina Margherita Cambria is a final-year student pursuing her MA in East European and Eurasian Studies (MIREES), a programme offered jointly by the University of Bologna, Vytautas Magnus University of Kaunas, and the University of Zagreb. Her academic journey has nurtured her passion for migration dynamics, human rights, culture, and societal shifts in the post-Soviet space. Currently, her research focuses on diaspora politics and Europe’s asylum system. Previously, Caterina obtained her BA in Foreign Languages (Russian and French) at Ca’ Foscari University of Venice, engaged in an Erasmus semester in Lithuania, and completed an internship at the Consulate General of Italy in Montréal.
