International Conference Devoted to the Promethean Movement

The Centre for East European Studies University of Warsaw and New Prometheus journal for the third time have the honour of inviting you to the International Conference Devoted to the Promethean Movement, which will take place on October 25th to 27th at the Ball Hall of the Potockis’ Palace UW. This year’s session is entitled: “Promethean Organizations – Journals – Publications”.

The first Conference was organised in 2011 and opened the series of annual academic sessions devoted to the history of the Promethean movement. The Conference in 2012 was entitled “Great Promethean Personages”. Participants were presenting the profiles of the most important promethean activists from Poland and abroad as well as cooperation between them.

This year’s Conference will be dedicated to presentation of academic research concerning promethean organisations as well as journals and publications. Following the tradition of previous editions, the organisers managed to invite researchers from all over the world. Apart from Polish scientists, papers will also be presented by researchers from Ukraine, Russia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Kazakhstan, France and Germany. It is our tradition to invite all the participants to a Holy Mass for outstanding prometheists from Poland and abroad. The Mass will take place on Friday, the October 25th, at 6 p.m., at the Visitationist Church in Warsaw, 34 Krakowskie Przedmieście Street.
