Halil Senturk is a master student of Dokuz Eylul University, department of International Relations, İzmir, Turkey. He also studied at the University of Wroclaw in the department of Eastern European Studies as an Erasmus student. His thesis mainly analyses ethnic and cultural demands of the Turkish ethnic party in Bulgaria. His research areas include ethnic parties, Balkan politics, conflict resolution and Turkish politics.
