The flat was full and noisy. At the table a tall blonde guy was drinking tea. The hostess was working in the kitchen. After a seven-hour journey through the mountains the first thing I noticed in the kitchen was warm soup with a large piece of tail sticking out from under the potatoes. Zuzanna Budkiewicz reports on her recent visit to Tajikistan.
