We cordially invite you to a meeting about Ukraine’s historical and identity dilemmas.
Following the publication of the book, Między historią a polityką (Between History and Politics) by Iwan Łysiak-Rudnycki, this meeting is organised by Kolegium Europy Wschodniej im. Jana Nowaka-Jeziorańskiego and will take place on March 26th 2012 at Międzynarodowe Centrum Kultury (International Cultural Centre) in Krakow (Rynek 25) at 7:00pm.
The honorary guests at the meeting include:
Adam Michnik, Editor-in-chief of Gazeta Wyborcza
Prof. Jarosław Hrycak, Catholic University in Lviv
Prof. Grzegorz Hryciuk, Wrocław University
Andrzej Brzeziecki (chair of the meeting), Editor-in-chief of the bi-monthly Nowa Europa Wschodnia and quarterly New Eastern Europe.
Iwan Łysiaka-Rudnycki’s book was published by Kolegium Europy Wschodniej im. Jana Nowaka-Jeziorańskiego, and will be available for purchase during the meeting (at a discounted price). The pubication of the book was financed by the Polish Ministry of Culture and National Heritage.
Admission to the meeting is free.
